About

I have spent twelve years as a cost estimator and data analyst at a commercial print firm in Caloocan — pricing labour, materials, and time across plate-making, binding, large-format, and digital. The job is unglamorous and unforgiving: an estimate that is wrong by a few percent eats the margin on the whole run.

Because I was the person who knew where the numbers lived, I became the person called for anything that touched them — purchasing, logistics, accounting. Each time, the answer was a system rather than a favour: a petty cash workbook that has now recorded close to ten thousand transactions and is still in daily use, a register that replaced a group chat, a report that used to take a day.

Since 2024 the tools changed and the habit did not. I build AI-assisted content systems, desktop applications, and reporting pipelines — a content operation running three accounts, a video editor that removed hours from a manual editing workflow, a dashboard that is the system of record for what has been approved and what has shipped. Same attention to detail. Radically different tools.

I work async-first and I write things down. If we work together you will get documentation you can hand to someone else, because a system only one person can operate is a liability wearing a solution’s clothes.

On AI

AI accelerates drafting, summarisation, and systems work. It does not replace judgment — accuracy and decisions stay with a person. Every system I build has a review step, and I will tell you where the model is doing the work and where it is not.
